Habits - Something which keeps you going..!!!
Habits are behaviors that we perform automatically, allowing us to carry out essential activities everyday. Habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously.
When you add good habits into your life, it illuminates another possible path, restores your confidence, and gives you hope. It's rightly said -"Motivation is something which let's you start but habits keep you going ".Doing a little bit every day has a greater impact than doing a lot on one day.
We’re quick to blame ourselves for lack of progress, but slow to blame our strategies
Every habit starts with a psychological pattern called a "habit loop," which is a three-part process. First, there's a cue, or trigger, that tells your brain to go into automatic mode and let a behavior unfold.
Then comes behavioral repetition, and the reward.The context cue can be a prior action, time of day, location, or anything that triggers the habitual behavior.
Once first step is taken then soon it becomes repetitive and you receive reward for your good habits. Set a super easy goal to start, because chances are you’ll keep going once you’re off.
Use some kind of system to track your habits and progress.
No matter how determined or sincere you are, making life changes is hard. You may intend to exercise for an hour a day, but intention without action is pointless. Human beings have a tendency to overestimate their self-discipline. That leads to a disconnection between objectives and results.
When you beat your goal, don’t increase the standard, or you’ll fall off the wagon.But form good habits as they are very essential for sustaining a good lifestyle.
