Binge eating disorder is a serious condition characterized by uncontrollable eating and a resulting weight gain. People with binge eating disorder frequently eat large amounts of food (beyond the point of feeling full) while feeling a loss of control .It is an eating disorder associated with various psychological and non-psychological issues with some degree of impairment.  binge eating disorder consists of : 1) Consuming a larger amount of food than other people would be able to consume in similar circumstances and similar period (usually within a two hour period).  2) Lack of control of eating and feeling guilty after eating.  While some people may occasionally overeat, such as at Thanksgiving or a party, it does not mean they have BED, despite having experienced some of the symptoms listed above.
