Hazardous effects of Rote learning
This wizard commonly known as "Rote learning" Has an adverse effect on the mental growth of children. If not solved soon, it will surely derail the overall development of a child. Lecturing, along with the chalk and talk method, continue to be the dominant teaching strategy used and teachers spend a large amount of classroom time in rote teaching and learning methods such as copying content from textbooks onto the chalkboard and then asking students to copy the same into their notebooks.
When learning by rote, learners are given the answer to a question, and that’s the only answer they know. Most of us were exposed to rote learning early in our life when we memorized the alphabet, numbers, multiplication tables, and formulas. And this continued for a long time and soon became a part of education. While handy in some situations, rote learning isn’t the most effective learning process.
There is a huge difference between "well - trained" And "well educated".Well trained minds are always dependent on books or research papers but well educated minds are the ones which flourish the most. When you experimentally learn something it gets sticked to your mind and also triggers new ideas and innovation which are the pathway of a better future.
